Both Rs 666 and Rs 699 Vi prepaid plans come bundled with additional benefits of Binge All Night, weekend data rollover, and premium subscription to Vi Movies & TV app along with up to 2GB of backup data every month, at no extra cost.

Vi has recently tied up with music streaming platform Hungama to launch its own music streaming service for its prepaid and postpaid users. Vi said it will offer the service free of cost to its users for six months.

The new prepaid plans as well as the launch of music streaming service follow the prepaid tariff hikes announced by all three private telcos — Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vi last month.

While Airtel and Vi increased their prepaid tariffs by 20-25%, Jio’s prepaid plans are now expensive by 20-21%.
