Krafton has temporarily taken down the Virus Infection mode from Battlegrounds Mobile India due to an issue with the game mode. The game developer has confirmed that they are working on a fix and will update BGMI players on the development.
The company published a notice regarding the issue with the Virus Infection Mode on the official Battlegrounds Mobile India website on December 9 mentioning taking down of the mode due to an issue. However, the notice does not mention any details about the issue.
The post also assures BGMI players that they will be informed once the problem is fixed and the Virus Infected Mode is back live.
The notice reads, “Dear BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA fans, We have identified an issue when playing Virus Infection Mode, and will take down the mode temporarily at Dec 9, 14:50 PM. We will fix the problem as soon as possible, and inform you immediately when fixed. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Also, as of now, there’s no information from the company that by when the problem will be fixed and the game mode will go back live for players to jump into the human vs zombies battle.
For those unaware, Virus Infection mode is a part of Zombie mode in Battlegrounds Mobile India. The mode allows players to play against the zombies who are trying to affect them. Players are supposed to protect themselves by killing them.
The game mode has three rounds and it includes power-ups, boosters and more.
