Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones may come with 25watt wireless charging - Times of India

Samsung is expected to launch its next Galaxy S series phone soon. The series could be unveiled in January 2022. Now, the company has filed an application with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for a new accessory – a 25-watt wireless charging pad. The development was first reported by Phonearena.
FCC is a US-based regulatory authority of all radio, TV, wire, cable, and satellite communications in the United States. Any manufacturer that wishes to sell a smartphone or charging accessory must first have their related application approved by the Commission.
While the application does not necessarily indicate that the new wireless charging pad will come with the Galaxy S22 series. It is being speculated that the new series may come with support for wireless charging. For those unaware, Samsung Galaxy S21 can support 15watt wireless charging. With a USB Type-C cable, the speed increases to 25watt.
