State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is reportedly extending its free 4G SIM offer to December 31, 2021, for all users who opt for coupon recharge of Rs 100 or more.

Currently, the offer is valid in the Kerala circle only but will be likely extended to other circles as well, according to a Kerala Telecom report.

BSNL has also waived off the SIM card cost of Rs 20 for new and MNP port-in customers who get the first recharge coupon of Rs 100 or more.

The telco is also providing free 4G SIM cards to new and MNP port-in customers till December.

To begin with, BSNL’s ‘STV_WFH_599’ is priced at Rs 599 and provides 5GB of daily data. The plan also offers 100 SMSes per day and unlimited voice calling along with access to the Zing app.

Last year in November also, BSNL as part of promotional offers provided a free SIM card to users who made a First Recharge (FRC) of a minimum of Rs 100. This offer was valid till November 28, 2020.

A BSNL 4G SIM otherwise costs Rs 20.

The free BSNL 4G SIM card offer can be availed of through BSNL Customer Service Centers and from all BSNL outlets.

Additionally, BSNL has extended the validity of its Rs 699 promotional plan by 90 days. It provides 0.5GB of data per day along with unlimited calls and 100 SMSes per day.

Its new validity is now three months or 180 days and will be available for use till January 2022.
