The top three telecom operators Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) offer similarly priced prepaid plans that offer unlimited calling along with similar benefits.

However, amid stiff competition for subscribers, Jio, Airtel, and Vi sweeten up their plans with additional benefits such as access to complimentary services, double data, and subscription to streaming services.

Vodafone Idea, for instance, with its Rs 399 prepaid plan offers 1.5GB of data per day with unlimited calling and 100 free SMSes per day.

Additional benefits include the Vodafone Play service and a complimentary subscription to the Zee5 app, Data Roll Over, and Night Binge. Users can also access Vi Movies & TV app.

To recall, Vodafone Idea had integrated Vi Movies & TV app into the Vi App which will allow its users to stream live TV channels and OTT content seamlessly.

Jio with its Rs 399 prepaid plan provides 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited calls, and 100 free SMSes daily. As is the convention, this plan comes with access to all Jio apps including JioMovies, JioSaavn, JioTV, JioChat, and more.

Airtel’s Rs 399 prepaid plan comes with 1.5GB daily data, 100 daily complimentary SMSes, and unlimited calling.

Additionally, Airtel has spiced up its prepaid plan offering complimentary access to XStream Premium, free Hello Tunes, free subscription to Wynk Music, free online courses at Shaw Academy (28 days), anti-virus for phone, and Rs 150 cashback for FASTag purchase.

To recall, Airtel has partnered with cybersecurity firm Kaspersky which allows its customers to purchase mobile and PC antivirus protection from the Airtel Thanks platform.

Lastly, all the above plans offer 56 days of validity.
